Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 5, 2026
This policy describes how paath.online (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you visit our website or contact us. We aim to be transparent about third-party services (analytics, advertising, and lead capture) that help us run and improve the site.
1. Information you choose to share (lead chat)
The on-site chat may ask for your name, email, phone number, learning interests, optional requirements, and the page you were on when you submitted. This is used only to respond to your inquiry and plan tutoring—not for unrelated marketing unless you separately agree.
Submissions are processed through Google Apps Script and may be stored in a Google Sheet or similar Google Workspace resource controlled by the site operator. Google’s processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
If you want a copy of data we hold about you from a lead submission, or you want it deleted, email us at mohitagarwal3463@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your request.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand aggregate traffic— for example which pages are viewed, approximate location, device type, and how people move through the site. The implementation is configured with IP anonymization where supported.
You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services in Google’s documentation and privacy settings, including optional browser add-ons or device settings to limit analytics cookies.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad effectiveness. You can manage ad personalization through your Google account and industry opt-out tools where available.
4. Cookies and local storage
Besides analytics and advertising, cookies may be used for basic site behavior (for example preferences). You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features may not work as intended if you do.
5. Automatically collected technical data
Like most websites, servers and services may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and timestamps. We use this for security, debugging, and understanding aggregate usage—not to identify you unless combined with information you submit (for example a lead form).
6. Third-party links and embedded content
Pages may link to external sites (documentation, videos, announcements). We do not control those sites’ privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing personal information there.
7. Children and students
Educational content is intended to be appropriate for a general audience, including students. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor submitted personal data through our chat, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where applicable.
8. Data retention and security
We keep lead and operational data only as long as needed to respond to inquiries, run the business, or meet legal obligations. No online transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we use reasonable measures appropriate to a small educational service.
9. International visitors
We operate from India and may use service providers (e.g. Google) that process data in multiple countries. By using the site, you understand your information may be processed where those providers operate, subject to their policies and applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when we add features or change vendors. The “Last updated” date will change and material updates will be reflected here.
